  • Will medical professionals be present at VBS?

At VBS, a Medical Crew of registered nurses and/or physicians will be available. They will address minor illnesses and injuries. If a student or volunteer needs urgent medical attention, emergency services will be contacted.

  • Is there a deadline to register?

It’s advisable your child be completely registered by Monday, August 11th so preparations are complete in time.

  • Should I pack snacks/lunch for my child?

Lunch and snacks will be provided for all students. However, breakfast will not be provided. Please make sure your child has eaten before arriving to VBS in the mornings.

If parents/guardians opt to pack snacks and lunch for their child, please adhere to our nut-free policy out of consideration for the other children who may have serious allergies.

  • Can parents/guardians stay on campus during VBS?

Parents are welcome to attend the opening and closing sessions! For the well-being of all children, any visitors or parents wishing to stay for the duration of the day must remain in the main room.

  • How do I know what group my child will be in?

A week before VBS all students will be officially assigned to the proper class and age group.

Parents and guardians will be made aware of these assignments upon Monday’s check-in. The breakdown is usually as follows:

    Ages 5-6: Primary Group

    Ages 7-9: Middler Group

    Ages 10-11/12: Junior Group

  • What should my child wear?

Opt for casual attire! Shorts, a t-shirt, and sneakers are ideal as your child will be engaging in active games daily.

As crafts may involve some messiness, it's advisable to dress your child in clothes that can handle a bit of dirt, paint, glitter, glue, etc.

  • What should my child bring?

Minimize belongings as much as you can. With movement between rooms, unnecessary items can easily be misplaced.

  • How do I drop off and pick up my child?

Parents and guardians will be directed by our Security and Logistics teams on where to pick up/drop off their children upon arrival.
